Now Building: Phase II of Kearsarge Brook Condominiums at Cranmore

Construction will begin this fall on Phase II of Kearsarge Brook Condominiums at Cranmore.

North Conway, NH (August 20, 2019) – State and local leaders gathered at the base of Cranmore Mountain Resort today to celebrate the groundbreaking of Phase II of Kearsarge Brook Condominiums at Cranmore. This is the second phase of a $50 million development that will transform the resort into a vibrant mixed-use community with year-round residences and expanded base facilities. When the project is completed, six new buildings and a total of 106 condominiums will have been added to Cranmore's base area. The first two buildings will be residential, while the third and fourth will replace existing base lodges with 45,000 square feet of new lodge space. Phase II of Kearsarge Brook Condominiums will be attached to Building One of Kearsarge Brook, providing an additional 19 residences to the 18-unit building. Located at the base of Cranmore’s South Slope, residences offer easy access to the slopes and expansive views of Cranmore and the surrounding White Mountains. Chuck Henderson who is special assistant to Senator Jeanne Shaheen, shared the Senator’s comments at today’s ceremony. “This commitment to continuing the first-class development of Cranmore highlights the tenacity and visionary thinking of Brian and Tyler Fairbank. This investment will bolster the local economy and provide the setting for memorable family experiences for generations to come.” District 1 Executive Councilor, Michael Cryans, congratulated the team working on the project, and spoke to Cranmore’s unique proximity to downtown North Conway. Cranmore owner, Brian Fairbank, who also operates Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Massachusetts and Bromley Mountain in Vermont, implemented a similar development at Jiminy Peak. Fairbank applauded Cranmore President and General Manager, Ben Wilcox. “When I look at where we were with Cranmore just 10 years ago its amazing what we have accomplished in the 10 short years.” Fairbank closed by thanking everyone for attending the groundbreaking ceremony. Phase II residences includes two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from approximately 1,249 to 2,082 square feet. All Phase II units include an ensuite Master, stone-faced propane fireplace in the main living area, a patio (first floor units) or balcony, and luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the entire home. Additional Kearsarge Brook features and amenities include gated parking, elevator access to floors two – four, and membership options for an onsite fitness room and year-round heated outdoor pool and hot tub.
